"NON PLUS ULTRA" era per gli antichi latini il motto posto al limite del mondo conosciuto, "Non più oltre", le colonne che il mitico Ercole, in una delle sue fatiche, mise all’attuale stretto di Gibilterra, come termine che non si poteva oltrepassare, pena la perdita della vita.
Anche noi non possiamo più andare oltre…
Le tavole consumate dagli agenti atmosferici, dipinte accentuando la bellezza dorata della natura, carica di ferite, e il contrasto con le tavole di supporto piatte e monocrome tende a sollecitare una riflessione sulla necessità indifferibile di adoperarsi per un'ecologia integrale.
