INSEGUIRE

In this work, I want to explore the connection between being lost, introspection, and hope.

I created a faceless character who is placed within an undefined space. Standing in the rain, he asks himself: “Where am I?” “Where can I go?”

I deliberately removed all the individual characteristics of the character, so that he no longer represents a specific person, but instead becomes a universal presence—one that represents anyone who has ever felt lost, experienced an inner emptiness, and tried to find a sense of direction.

In this empty space, the character sees a beam of light. For me, this light is not simply a visual element, but also a symbol. It can represent guidance coming from the outside, or the embodiment of a desire that exists within.

What I want to express is the character’s hesitation and inner conflict as he faces this light. In the end, he decides to reach out and grasp it. This gesture is not merely a physical action; it symbolizes the search for meaning and an attempt to reconnect with oneself.

Through INSEGUIRE, I hope to convey a universal human experience: when we feel lost, can we still find our own light? Is it a true form of salvation, or simply another illusion?

Perhaps the answer itself is not important. What truly matters is the process of searching—the fact that, even when we are lost, we continue to pursue.
