The artwork is a tapestry made by recycling discarded clothing, dyed by means of ecoprinting.
The strips of fabric create sinuous movements that intertwine with each other, representing the infinite and ever-changing flow of our lives.
The pigments of the flowers collected in Salento in the autumn and spring tie the work to the territory where it was conceived and realised. The colours that the eye is accustomed to seeing at different times of the year converge and manifest together in a single instant, taking on an identity of their own.
The use of recycled materials and natural, km 0 pigments are intended to demonstrate that it is possible to make something new out of something already existing, which has lost its initial function.
