The Cobra Lighting

Inspired by the iconic Cobra symbol at Ancient Egypt, this lighting fixtures reinterpretes a 4,000 years old legendary design into a contemporary floor lamp.The cobra was a significant royal symbol in ancient Egypt. A rearing cobra, hood flared, ready to strike, was drawn and sculpted as an image called uraeus, which was used back then for protection. This lighting piece questions the concept of light, pure white marble symbolizing the sun disk and a handmade brass cobra ahead of it for protection. Are we ready for the light?
