The jewellery display “Ooze” consists of individual
shapes of different sizes, which can be combined with each other and adapted to
different windows and showcases as needed. The organic shape combined with the
soft tone and texture evokes associations with the body, suggesting how the
jewellery will cling to it without directly mimicking the human form. The material’s natural
minimalistic color, lets the jewelry stand out, creating a balance appealing
to the viewer. The smaller forms function as a stage, placing the jewellery in
the spotlight.
Ooze is made with care; first, individual layers are
cut out of the MDF using a CNC router. For the linoleum to adhere evenly, each layer of MDF is hand-sanded and
rounded. The further application process is done by a vacuum press.
