ONE PATTERN, is a cross-project
about the intersection of fashion and product design, created by VOZIANOV and
Manako design. Simple shapes - multiple
implication. Circle, Oval, Rectangle and Triangle - these are clear poetic
shapes that have formed the basis of the new design project One pattern. One
pattern is a story about self-sufficiency of simple shapes, about individuality and aesthetics
of minimalism. United by passion for plane shapes, experiments and
transformations, fashion studio Vozianov and product designer Manako design
showed an inextricable connection between the two industries. The main idea of
collaboration is to display how one pattern can simultaneously be applied to
garments and interior items. Each pair
of products has a common denominator: the pattern repeats exactly in the
garment and in the interior product. Two vests, a skirt and a cap are visually
in tune with two tables and a pendant lighting and a floor lamp. One pattern is
a project about how products with meaning are created from simple, clear
shapes. One pattern is a process, it is a game, a game with shapes and
meanings. “We want to show the process of design, how a silhouette is created,
how a simple oval shape transforms into a vest, and the vest turns into a
table,” say designers of the project Fyodor and Anna.
