Moving away from your birth home to settle in a new city is a soul-stirring experience. It is like drinking a cool glass of water on a hot summer’s day. It is refreshing and invigorating. But with it also comes a longing and desire to have something that reminds you of home. Nostalgic feelings and memories are ever lingering.
This is the first line of My City collection and it’s inspired by the artist's birth home, Tehran. The collection consists of a series of installations on canvas for people who are looking for bold art and have an adventurous sense of style.
In this creation, the production process of a MyCity Tehran cuff designed by the designer in 2017, is demonstrated in synthesis.
Each piece in the collection takes the architectural form of Milad Tower also known as Tehran Tower, Which is one of the most iconic landmarks in Tehran and the sixth-tallest telecommunication tower in the world.
