"DECOMPOSED WATERCOLORS" is a triptych conceived by the primary colors, contrasted by their respective complementaries. The triptych is divided into: RED/GREEN - YELLOW/PURPLE - BLUE/ORANGE. Symmetry is the basis of work. The decorative pattern has the possibility of repeating itself endlessly. The mirror pattern is paradoxically interrupted by the shape of the support on which it is made.
The perfect geometric shape of the circle, without edges or breaks, makes it a symbol of harmony, balance, and totality, but in this case it represents the interruption of infinite repeatability. The work was created with watercolors on high-weight paper and then digitally reworked to create a succession of converging lines and mirrored shapes. The final work is printed on glass.
