Crystals, Baby!

Crystals and their characteristics have always been a source of fascination for humans: Their symmetry and beauty. which can be attributed to the regularity of the crystal surfaces and their internal structure, have been studied overlapping in science, aesthetics and literature. For this project, a transparent body is placed in a salt solution and left to rest for several days. The body has been modified, and after just a few days, a structured, reflective crystalline layer forms on its surface. This layer is stable in itself and conducts light. Each object is unique, and every surface is one of a kind. When illuminated from within, the layered growth of the crystals becomes visible. Limited series of 10.
