Jiajie Zheng is a photographic artist who works and lives in London. He treats photography not as a isolated from of representation, but as an informational infrastructure for sensory extension. His work connects medium, mechanism of perception and seeing in everyday life, interrogating how technology expands and recasts our sight. His practice focuses on visual archaeology, power structures, and sensory, seeking the hidden logic of the images and its production in modern society.
His work has been exhibited internationally on multiple occasions, including in China, the UK, and Germany. His recent project was selected for Der Greif's Guest Room and featured in a major group exhibition at the Xu Liaoyuan Museum of Modern Art and Design in Chengdu.
