Zharikova

My name is Darya Zharikova. I am a mosaic artist originally from Russia and currently based in Paphos, Cyprus. I have been working with mosaic art for over five years, exploring the expressive and symbolic potential of this ancient medium.

I received my foundational training at the Moscow School of Mosaic and the Granada Garden School in Saint Petersburg. I further developed my practice through courses with Serbian mosaic artist Andjelka Radojevic and advanced studies at the Mosaic Art School in Ravenna under Luciana Notturni, where I deepened my understanding of classical and contemporary mosaic techniques.

My work has been presented in several exhibitions in Saint Petersburg, including “Mosaics of Syria,” “Landscapes,” and “Surrealists.” In 2025, I participated in Pictor Imaginarius, where my work was awarded third place. Currently, I live and work in Cyprus, where I run my own mosaic studio in Paphos and lead courses in mosaic art creation.

I am a member of the International Association of Contemporary Mosaicists.
