Giorgia Zanuso is a contemporary artist whose research explores the dialogue between geometry, light, and the human figure. Her background in Architecture has profoundly influenced her artistic language, which is rooted in the study of proportion, balance, and geometry. Her work interprets the geometric structures found in nature as a universal language, capable of revealing the invisible relationships between matter and perception.
Her artistic practice initially developed through purely geometric compositions inspired by the principles of symmetry, order, and harmony found in nature. Over time, her research evolved with the introduction of hyperrealistic pastel drawing, in which hands, eyes, and fragments of the human body enter into dialogue with geometric structures, creating works where the precision of geometric construction meets the expressive power of the human figure.
Light is an integral part of each artwork, completing its visual language by transforming geometry into a living element that changes according to space and the viewer's perspective. Geometry, light, and the human figure are not separate elements, but components of a single artistic investigation into the invisible connections that unite the individual, nature, and the universe.
