Werner Zährl (b. 1972, Czech Republic) is a contemporary painter and founder of Curvingism, an original artistic approach based on the expressive power of curves to capture movement, energy, and the rhythm of life. Living and working in the Karlovy Vary region, he began with realistic paintings inspired by Japanese culture before gradually developing a distinctive visual language that merges figurative and abstract elements.
His works explore themes of nature, spirituality, human emotion, and personal experience. Through flowing lines and vibrant color relationships, Zährl creates compositions that invite contemplation while conveying a sense of harmony, motion, and transformation. Influences from coastal landscapes, mythology, travel, and Eastern aesthetics are often reflected in his paintings.
His artworks have been exhibited in the Czech Republic and internationally, including exhibitions and presentations in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Spain, France, and the United States. His works are held in private collections across several European countries. Through Curvingism, Zährl seeks to create visual experiences that connect inner emotion with universal human perception
