As a Lebanese artist and co-founder of the art studio MZIJ, I seek to preserve the soul of classical calligraphy while reimagining its possibilities.
My work is rooted in the timeless beauty of Arabic calligraphy, yet it speaks the language of contemporary art. Each composition is a dialogue between tradition and innovation, where the elegance of the letterform meets the boldness of modern expression. I am drawn to the rhythm, balance, and emotion that lie within each curve and stroke - transforming letters into living forms that carry both meaning and motion.
Arabic calligraphy, to me, is not only a script but a spiritual architecture - an art form where language becomes form, and form becomes feeling. Through my work, I aim to create spaces where people can pause, reflect, and connect with the unspoken poetry of the line.
