Jie Xu is a Chinese designer based in London, specializing in ceramic and homeware design. She holds a Master's degree in Designer Maker from UAL Camberwell, where she developed her skills in handcrafting porcelain pieces. In addition to her design work, Jie is a social worker who provides care for elderly dementia patients, drawing inspiration from this role for her recent collections. In the summer of 2023, Jie founded Jxeramics to merge functionality, artistry, and meaningful design. Her work is known for its natural textures and meticulous craftsmanship, reflecting her dedication to both her craft and the people she serves.
