Xingzi

Born in Japan, in 1983.Xingzi received a foundation in art and pursued training of sculpture in Tokyo.Moved to Paris in 2004, she studied clothing making skills there.Working in the fashion field more than 10 years, she also travels various countries around the world and gets inspirered by different local cultures.She uses natural and unrefined raw materials that are difficult to handle such as soil, minerals, metals, plants for her artworks.
Also she makes her works especially through daily fashion motifs such as clothes and shoes focusing a vulnerable beauty which exists beyond the utility.
