Phyllis Wong is a multi-disciplinary visual artist and art director who focus on food and sustainability. With her artistic and meticulous mind, she thrives to challenge and inform our social arena about our mishandled eating disorder and food culture. Her techniques include structural and instrumental compositions polished with skilful ensembles resulting in contemporary imageries. There is always a narrative behind her work, a storytelling motive aim to showcase the intangible humanistic behaviour thru her sublime art form.
As a trained architect with experiences in Los Angeles and London, Phyllis Wong also used to run a catering company in Rotterdam where she dived into a steep learning curve about the food industry in the Netherlands and in general. With her diverse professional background as an ensemble, her role as an art director range from creating concepts to curating and realising its production. Her ultimate goal is to raise awareness and inform the audience about ways to consume responsibly and sustainably for ourselves and our environment.
