My artistic practice includes film, sculpture, installation. Regardless of technique, there is an always a documentary element. My work deals with questions about our society and the points where society falls short. It often takes shape in open processes where the artwork is created through collaborations. Often the works is created pot of a specific place.
19 years ago I moved my studio to a newly opened refugee camp, and ran a project with an open studio and lived there for one year. Many projects followed that in different ways involved other people and places in the creative process. In the sculpture project Monument without a home, a group of children in an orphanage make an unwanted monument, in the film A Bastard Child800 watercolors form a story about my grandmother's childhood in an undemocratic Sweden, in the vide installation Where the border runsa child tells us about a border he is not allowed to cross.
