Before she started to use photography as a medium of art, Sandra were studied ceramics in Japan and America, and has lived and worked in Washington DC, Japan, China, Taiwan, and Canada while working with American Agency. Sandra’s photography has received numerous distinguished awards: Photo London x Nikon Emerging Award 2025, Prix Pictet nomination, State of the World Paris 2024, winner of OpenWall#4 British Journal of Photography; State of the World PX3 Paris; First Place in Director’s Choice award for Center Awards; First Prize in the Open Category of the Kuala Lumpur International Photo; first prize winner of the Robert Cornelius Portrait Award, the International Conservation Award in Culture; Reader’s Collection and International contest winner for National Geographic Magazine and more. Her works has been exhibited in Galerie Huit Arles, Museum of fine arts Washington County, The Phillips Collection, Aperture Gallery, Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, Annenberg Space for Photography, Stanford Art Space, MOLA and many other. Her work is in many private collections, including that of the Gordon Parks Foundation.
