DeKalb County is where I was born and raised. My father is from Antigua & Barbuda, while my mother was born in Georgia and raised between the States and parts of Europe. The only other more important figure is my late grandfather, Alexander Billy Andrews. Before he passed, he used to tell me how much he adored my philosophy and wisdom. We'd pray together, confess to one another, and read the Bible together. I changed my name because of him. Everything he's taught me manifested into one word; Wisdom. Wisdom being the acceptance and strategy of both the known and unknown. I use this principle in the exploration of my work through the Black Experience, and the nuances of Black expressionism by the philosophy of my late grandfather.
