My artistic journey stared with figurative painting, and then moved into the abstract field.
At first, I tried to capture the events which already happened or will happen by the stabled banal daily scenes. Through the composition and the contrasts of forms, I tried to enlarge the unbalanced visual perception, to seek the mysterious from the general normality, and finally to hint the absent events with the present painting.
With this direction, I started to work with the concept of painting, image, and text. Image and text are correlated randomly but also conventionally, painting contains them but also beyond them, because it associates directly with human action, it is the trace of authors mind, the conflicts between the individual intention and collective experience deluged the painting in a discursive sea. what I did is trying to cultivate this conflicts, break the correlation between image and text, and let painting reveal itself, by reducing the recognizability of image and text, by partly negate or even cancel them , to decontextualize the meaning, and to question what exactly constructed meaning, and I found it's not affirmation, because by affirming, the meaning just shifts into the media by which it was affirmed , it will always depend on a system of indication. It is actually the negation and cancellation which by actions and traces, meaning declares its presence by absence and absence by presence. And eventually, painting with materiality, stands out.
