Walser is a
Swiss artist and graduate architect from the ETH Zurich, born in 1970 in the
Canton of Graubünden. After completing a scientific high school, where Walser
integrated drawing as an additional subject, she graduated in architecture from
ETH Zurich, gaining deep knowledge in color theory, shapes, materials,
perspective, and the study of the natural environment.
After graduation, Walser worked in renowned
architecture firms, primarily in the Zürich area. Between 2004 and 2005, she
began exploring action painting, a technique that allowed her to break
free from the rigid constraints of architecture. She discovered the dialogue
between the unconscious, color, and movement, a process she describes as "a
magical flow."
From 2004 to 2010, Walser held several solo
exhibitions in Switzerland, including in Zürich, Lake Zürich, Zug and Graubünden,
a region with a strong personal connection due to her childhood spent in the
mountains.
Passionate about modern architecture and modern
art, Walser is also influenced by nature and internal dialogs with her
inconcous, creating large canvases, that represent personal realms and oases of
well-being. Her work also delves into social and psychological themes,
exploring how colors affect the human psyche through a continuous dialogue with
her own art.
In 2017, she moved to Veneto, Italy, where
she now lives and works with her family. Since 2021, she has participated in
numerous art fairs, solo exhibitions, and group shows across Italy.
