Zoran Vuckovic
Sculptor and musician
After graduating from the Faculty of Music at the University of Belgrade, he moved to Italy. He takes the Italian citizenship. From 1980 onwards for the next 35 years he is a stable member of the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra in Milan, as well as of the Scala Philharmonic as a violist. He works with the most famous soloists and conductors of the world music scene. The richness of musical life in an area of excellence like that of Scala inspires in him an intense artistic and emotional sensibility that, when he was in front of the true works of art, it renewed and expanded up to the great interest in deepening and enrich the knowledge of art in all its aspects. Over time, from the fullness of inner life immersed in reading, sounds, shapes and colors, he was increasingly invaded by a growing impulse to a different artistic creation to be complemented by that of music. Finding a way out of one's own inner being towards the outside world becomes a necessity for him, which subsequently acquires a full expression in his sculptural forms.
His works are in various private collections, including those by Tadatsugu Sasaki, Karl Kallol Guha and Maesrto Riccardo Muti.
