Marta Viola [1986] studied psychology in Padua and photography in Milan. She works with schools and associations using the photographic medium. In the 2016 she documents the post-earthquake in the center of Italy in collaboration with the “Lo Stato delle cose” observatory. In 2018 she published her first book “Sangue bianco” [Ed. Seipersei] in which she recounts her experience with leukemia through images and text. Together with Stefania Spadoni she realizes the workshop "PHOTO-GRAPHY. Resonances between words and images" in which the expressive channels of photography and writing are used to create narratives. She has written articles for MIND and NE.MO. and has expose in Italy, but also in London and Zurich. Her works have also been published on D-La Repubblica, Fotocrazia, Il Fotografo, PhotoVogue, Vogue Italia, Vanity Fair, Huffpost Italia, IL - Magazine Il sole 24 ore, C- 41 Magazine. She has take part in the DUNE artistic residency from 11 to 15 September 2019 by making "Ospiti" a narrative video of your experience in the San Felice oasis affiliated with WWF in Marina di Grosseto. Now she work at new project and book “Cotton Candy”, curated by Yougurt Magazine.
