1958: Beti Vervega was born on 28th of July, at
Trusesti, Botosani county, daughter of Constantin Vervega, professional photographer and Elena Haliuc, who
help him in his photo studio.
1960 – 1965: She lives at Iacobeni, Botoşani
county, with her maternal grandma Paraschiva Haliuc.
1965: Together with her family she moves at Campulung, Arges
county. While in secondary school, she takes
private painting classes and ballet.
1973 – 1978: She attends the Industrial High-school no. 1
courses, at Campulung.
1978 – 1986: She takes repetitive exams at Art University
“Nicolae Grigorescu”. She is attending painting and
restauration classes with the Romanian Patriarchy from Bucharest.
1988: She gets the diploma in mural painting.
1988 – 1990: She paints the church from Boş village,
Hunedoara county, using al fresco technique.
1990: She enrolls at the private Art Academy “Luceafarul” in
Bucharest, Painting section, professor Teodor
Moraru class.
1992: She takes a series of documentary travels in France
and Germany.
1994: She decides to work in her art studio at home for a
year, during the 4th year of university.
1994: She has debut within the group exhibition called
“Options”, held in the Contemporary Art Center, ¾ floor, curator: Aurelia Mocanu.
1994: Starting with this year, she takes part to numerous
group exhibitions in Romania and other countries.
1996: She graduates the Art Academy “Nicolae Grigorescu”,
from Bucharest.
1994 – 1997: She exhibits in a series of programmed
exhibitions (“Shape and Time”, “The Dialogue of Freedom”, “Concentrations”) at Galla Gallery in Bucharest,
curator Teodor Moraru.
1997: She becomes a member of UAP – Visual Artists Union,
Painting section.
1997: The Ministry of Culture buys her painting “Window”,
70x70 cm, oil on canvas.
1997: Personal exhibition “Fragments” at Galla Gallery in
Bucharest.
1998: BRD Bank – Societe Generale Bucharest purchase 2 paintings
from her “Character with idols”, 160x160
cm, oil on canvas, and “Portraits”, 140x105 cm, oil on canvas.
1998: Personal exhibition “Clip” at Romanian Literature
Museum, Bucharest.
1999 – 2000: She leaves in Africa – Nigeria, where she stays
for nine months.
2003 – 2017: She starts a series of non-conventional
exhibitions entitled “Art closer to the public”.
2008: Personal exhibition “Step” – Cultural Center
Brancoveanu Palaces Mogosoaia, followed by a mime show on the same topic “Step”
(Passe-Partout Dan Puric theater group).
2008: She launches her first Art catalogue “The simple
present”. Curator: Aurelia Mocanu.
2009: Film“Beti Vervega”, TVR Cultural within “Identities”
show, 30 minutes.
2010: She organizes Sleepless Night of Visual Art Studios
from Bucharest, in partnership with the Bucharest
City Hall.
2012-2013: Co-curator of “Arts in Bucharest” exhibition.
2013: Co-curator of “femART” exhibition.
2014 – 2016: Co-curator of “Arts in Bucharest” exhibition.
2019: Curator of “Interior Lab” exhibition.
2017 – 2020: She organizes workshops for development of creativity
for the corporate employees.
2021: She is participating at Art Creativity Camp” Colonia” from
Tescani
2023: Personal Exhibition - ”Extended Connections” and art
residence at Fantom Gallery from Berlin
2023: She is launching the catalogue “Connections”
2023: Personal Exhibition ”Re-Connect” at The Institute
Gallery, Combinatul Fondului Plastic Bucharest
2023: She is receiving the Special Award from MAMCO – Museum
of Modern and Contemporary Art Pavel
