Statement
At the center of her research there is a necessity, a question: a fissure cracks the vision and raises an ambiguity, calling into question the relationship between man and nature, natural and artificial, fragility, survival.
Faced with a surrounding reality that is disturbing in its precariousness, the artist has no answers to give, and has no choice: she collects fragments, captures traces and tries to fix them, for a while.
Ongoing Projects:
>collecting fragments, preserving traces
A group of works in progress created with various expressive means [oil, inks, photography, audio tracks, silicone casts, plaster, cement].
Natural space is an organic being, a breathing whole: it is in danger, but it is alive. In this vision there is a bright side, the strength of a birth. And a gloomy side, its fragility.
>In-site
She conceived and coordinates a collective project which brings together artists and SIOF, a historic pigments producer, and involves the use of iron oxides and natural coloring soils. A common work that connects individual poetics, the direct use of natural pigments, resulting from sustainable producing processes, and the company's industrial spaces.
The works resulting from the first phase of the project were exhibited in September 2023 in situ, inside the warehouses of the SIOF factory in Pozzolo Formigaro [AL-Italy], on the occasion of the celebrations for the company's hundredth anniversary, in dialogue with the production spaces in which they were made.
