Johannes van den Bussche is a Hamburg-based visual artist and tattooist whose work explores the intersection of digital systems, sacred symbolism, and human consciousness. Rooted in a background of graffiti, subculture, and nearly two decades of international tattoo experience, his artistic journey moves between tradition and abstraction, body and canvas, code and cosmos.
After years of meditation, martial arts, and travel across cultures from Norway to New Zealand, van den Busche developed a unique visual language: abstract compositions that integrate technoid lines, sacred geometries, and intuitive, gestural color fields. His works resonate as inner landscapes—spaces of reflection, resonance, and transformation.
He is the founder of ElvisTattooHamburg in Hamburg and currently exhibits and works independently under the label jvdb-art.
