Roya, born in 1981, is an Iranian artist whose 25 years of work have woven together powerful visual narratives centered around women - their lives, dreams, inner worlds and resilience. 

For the past 6 years, while living in Dubai, Roya has been translating her journey and the stories of countless women into evocative acrylic and mixed media paintings that speak of identity, hope and freedom.
