Born in Florence in 1995, Giulia Vaccari took her first steps in art while still a teenager, participating in multiple competitions and later exhibiting her work in group exhibitions and sculpture competitions.
Her name is linked to the 2014 national competition, dedicated to the bicentennial of the Carabinieri Corps, where her sculpture received wide acclaim, passing the regional selections.
Fascinated by the world of art, she attended the Art School in Florence and later she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence with honors.
His major recognition came in 2019, on the occasion of the competition dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Military Arsenal of the city of La Spezia, and promoted by the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence, her work Porta IX#, made of Botticino marble, was installed in Piazza Gino Patroni, as a permanent sculpture.
Sculpture becomes in the course of her artistic research, a reason for experimentation for personal expression through new languages. The world of digital modeling, which had always attracted her, to date constitutes the essence of her latest project.
Physical matter and virtual matter find their proper place within her artistic production, asserting both in their essence. Her work Milkywave becomes the vehicle for opening up to new languages and new artistic forms, which to this day constitute the constant elaboration of her artistic research.
She currently lives and works in Florence.
