Armin Utreras

I am a 29 years old self-taught artist. Born and raised in Ecuador. Passionate about all the exuberant languages that color can offer, I engaged in the arts at a very young age. At 4 years old I began drawing and painting about animals, anatomy, the cosmos, all the wonders of the natural world. I have been in the states for 10 years and currently reside in the city of Chicago, IL. During my life I had overcome somber giants like bullying, anorexia, depression and survived death to tell the story, art has been my catalyst for joy and peace, my guardian angel and my inspiration to grow in every way.  A firm believer of the limitless potential art has on the planet, I live to serve and enhance the artistic spark in the hearts of everyone.
