I am interested in how the pigments move, settle, and dry in ways that I cannot fully control, reflecting the nature of water and its capacity for transformation. Through my work, I explore the relationship between human beings and their environment, capturing the connections that link us to nature.
Although I studied Business at university, painting has always been a significant part of my life. It is my way of interpreting what surrounds me and of translating emotions into colour and form. When I paint, I enter a state of deep concentration, where gesture and material engage in a free and intuitive dialogue.
My paintings are composed of thin, layered washes that intertwine to create a sense of movement. They are open to emotional interpretation and try to evoke both the fluidity of the landscape and the constant transformation of human experience.
