RESUME Atta /Antoinette Tontcheva/ Belgium
Belgium visual author, designer and producer
Via art I discover the power of communication, which inspires me to pursue my artistic expressions on variety of topics. Thus, transforming ideas, reflections, storylines, social environment, nature, technologies, communications into visual images.
I've put on solo and group exhibitions in Europe, mainly in Belgium, The Louvre, Paris, United States, New York, Dubai World Art, Milano, Switzerland, Florence International Art25, featuring my most notable works, which highlighted my artistic vision and ability to showcase my creative endeavors. Being an alumna of the Belgium Royal art school, I have had more than thirty solo exhibitions in Belgium.
In 2001 I presented over 50 artworks on the North Sea coast of Oostende, hall Montrose, in Belgium. The huge, almost museum-like hall displayed my big size works such as: ''Vie aquatique''1.80m X 2m, ''Femmes''2m X2.5m, ''Dans le temple, 2.5m x 2m, ''Horse peacock'', Two owls'', focusing on themes as civilization, nature, culture, folklore.
Many of these works have been showcased in solo performances in prestigious galleries in Brussels, Brugge, Liege, Spa, Belgium. Important series participated in exhibitions in New York,2005, Salon of Independent artists in Paris, 2004, at Milano art events, Switzerland and Germany art fairs.
Yes, art can and likes to travel, expressing visions, creating new worlds and relations. Presenting vectors of innovation.
Numerous artworks have been painted in my ''Techno'' style established to reflect the digital transformation taking place in the world. Displayed in numerous venues, The Louvre, Paris, the Royal Fine Art Academy, Brussels, Tel Aviv, New York museums and art events in New York, France, Monaco, Luxembourg.
"SOS for all", "Joy", ''Stars' Bridges" "Stars Paradise' ' Elephants in the garden" are fundamental, notable works of my conceptual art, welcomed at the Royal Fine Art Academy, Brussels, Belgium in 2004,2015,2017.
These works depicted my visual research for the harmony in nature, space and universal beauty, in an increasingly digitalized society.
During the pandemic period 2019-2021, I developed designs ''Imagine seeing the world without masks'' and ''Doctors and Planet'', combining, drawing, photo-designs, available on Arte Laguna World site.
In 2025 my works have been shown widely in Italy, namely in Frenize International art fair#25, Rome Museum week25, Italy, and World Art Dubai, and Sakura International art, Tokyo, Japan#25.
Working on the semantics of the message, I often resort to combined styles; photo-designs, painting-design, comics-designs, others.I assume that ''The urges are stronger via design organization'', the formula I am following in ''Techno Park'' I, II, III, and other recent works, performed in Rome 2025.Mondrian said ''The straight line has more tension". The architecture of the painting is important and expressed me the most! Notable exhibitions:The Louvre, Paris, FranceThe Museum of modern art in New York, United States,The Royal Fine Art Academy in Brussels, BelgiumOther events: Rome Contemporary museums week 25, World Art Dubai25, and Sakura Tokyo International art25
Critics featured my art in the YUMPU magazine, Brussels, Belgium, Wall Street International, United States, Louvre and Switzerland editions, journals.
Various topics are covered in my videos about nature, technology, sport, others. Visible in YouTube. Conceptual images enter in my short films ''Imagery in motion", "Autre regard", as a personal touch. Television broadcasts in Belgium, Luxembourg and Italy have shown my artworks and statements.
For Arte Laguna Prize 2025 I will participate with the artworks: ''Techno Park" I, II, III are part of the series "Nature speaks". A green message-tree about the relations between nature and the virtual world. Nature and technology are two systems which interact, permanently, the environment that surrounds us, the words of the nature, its beauty and harmony. Nature is strong, and vibrant. It accepts everyone no matter of the affiliation. We reshape it, we make experiments...however we accumulate its light, energy, we seek its shadow and magic presence. Nature renews and changes along with us and technology.
