Coming from a youthful background influenced by street art, I soon let myself be captivated by the pop culture of masters like Takashi Murakami and Yoshimoto Nara, to which my research will be linked for many years, in different declinations.
Driven by this aesthetic and by the interest in the superflat genre and contemporary graphics, and helped by some art awards recognitions, for many years I have exhibited in solo and group exhibitions even overseas (U.S.A., Asia and of course Italy).
After a break from the art scene, I recently felt the need to break away from my stereotype, and enter territories that had previously unexplored for me, of which my recent works are a first result.
BRAND NEW PROJECT STATEMENT
My recent work is about what remains, it consists in the representations of surfaces, contaminated by leftovers and residues, as signs of the passage of lives, which let
behind the scenes, contents and memories leak out. My current research is constantly evolving.
PAST WORK STATEMENT
From early 2000s till 2022 my work investigated the themes of tension and
diversity as a source of positive peculiarity and unicity, representing symbolic cartoon
like characters.
