Katya Tishkevich (1991, lives and works in Minsk, Belarus) is a contemporary artist working in oil, watercolour painting and sculpture.
She graduated from Minsk Glebov Art College(2012) and Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design(2018) as a painter and an artist of monumental art. Since graduation from the academy Tishkevich participates in local art fairs and exhibitions the last ones were pre-auction exhibition in Antonov gallery, exhibition of the finalists of "New names" contest in Museum of nonconformist art St.Petersburg and a solo show "Paired interactions" in Arts square gallery St.Petersburg during the Marathon of young artists held in November 2020.
Her art is based on her personal, inner experience and reflections about human being, sense of life, personal path and self-formation. She aims to convey inexpressible feelings, subtle emotions, which are hardly possible to explain with common language.
