The Artistic Producers of the IEM collective, Henry Graham and Jennifer Tisdale, want people to feel transported through time and space through this original and integrated performing art digital film work. Through shapes and movement thanks to our partners in the professional and international dance world of performance artists, we are able to rely on dance technique in its purest form of athletic beauty and artistry to be filmed and photographed as final visual art pieces. The collections are fashion and film inspired to fuse various art genres on one medium. Dance is art. Fashion is art. Film is art. It is breathtaking to see it displayed in an integrated form as photographic art, video art and with performance and digital art installations. We are thankful for this journey as Cinematic Artists.
Henry Graham’s vision as as artist is first and foremost to integrate participants, audience members and artists into his process to choreograph live performances and capture digital art pieces. He is an observer of life and the dynamics of human behavior which he brings to life when creating each piece. The most influential background that steers his large landscape of art creation, is his background of being raised in the Los Angeles Foster Care system. He embraces, acknowledges, owns it and uses it as a baseline for creating influential performance art that illustrates how he sees the world should be more integrated and allow children to create and be part of more inclusive and tolerant society. It is also a medium for inspiration. He wants all to strive to be achieve. Henry received full scholarships to the dance programs of The Rock School, and the School of American Ballet. He then attended The Ailey School on fellowship and was one of only 25 dancers invited by Artistic Director and Juilliard faculty member, Alexandra Wells, to participate in the Professional Project in 2005, a showcase of promising young talent from around the world. He performed in the Hollywood Bowl production of My Fair Lady and with Ms Debby Allen in the musical Brothers of The Knight. TV credits include: VH1 Awards, NAACP Image Awards, and NBC’s American Dreams. Film Credits include: A Time For Dancing. These experiences influence how the right lighting, projection and cinematic effect is needed for our works.
As the owner of dance2b studios in downtown Denver, Jennifer has been worked with Producers for ABC studios for America’s Got Talent, Dancing with the Stars, The Bachelor Spin-off - Ben & Lauren, Cirque Soleil “Luzia” Touring Director, NYC based Transition Theater Producer, Jeff Venable Cinematography in Nashville and local Denver Casting Agents and Managers for talent, space and consulting for their projects. After witnessing how these film productions were captured and her passion for performing arts, modeling fashion, she was inspired to create IMAGE EN MOUVEMENT with Henry seeing it as an opportunity to fuse all backgrounds and a natural progression from Jennifer’s experience as a business consultant and dancer/model. She grew up training in upstate New York and NYC performing and modeling and was featured in company ad campaigns for Kodak and Nestle as a kid. Jennifer was honored to perform in the “Nutcracker” with the Atlanta Ballet and in “FireBird” with the Cincinnati Ballet as a young adult. She continued her passion to dance lead contemporary, modern, ballet and jazz roles for the UD Dance Ensemble in several pieces for various choreographers in Dayton, Ohio including Dayton Contemporary Dance while pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton in Psychology with a dual minors in Communication and Management. She received full scholarship for a Master of Science in Organizational Psychology from the University of Baltimore. As part of her scholarship, she was part of a “think-tank” at the Merrick School of Business that provided research and strategic management consulting to local public and private sector clients in the greater Baltimore and Washington D.C. area and worked as an international business consultant for the Hay Group and Price Waterhouse. She is now enjoying unveiling her true passions for business art with curating works for IMAGE EN MOUVEMENT and collaborating with the commercial and artistic worlds in the newly launched Cinematic Art Gallery in the d2b studios space.
