Tatjana Teivas is a artist, poet and musician. She was born on 3 December 1975 in Tallinn (Estonia). At the age of 30 years (2005 y.), she took a great interest in painting. More than half of her works are in private collections in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Minsk, Tallinn, Istanbul, Tenerife. She is a member of 8 private exhibitions in Moscow, the Baltic States and on Tenerife, as well as the international exhibitions “Interdias-2016” on Tenerife and “Art-Love 2017” in St.Petersburg. In 2016, when the artist was 41 years old, she became interested in the art of woodworking and enrolled in a woodworking vocational education program. Now, the artist’s portfolio includes not only paintings but also various examples of her woodwork: panels, installation artworks, furniture, souvenirs. The artist considers herself to be a Symbolist artist because each of her works consists of a combination of symbols representing philosophical ideas behind various aspects of life. The main goal the artist wants to achieve is to draw people’s attention to the underlying processes and hidden meanings of the world around us.
