Antonia Katzouraki is self-taught in art. She started working on acrylic with number painting sketches while she was pursuing her PhD in applied mathematics at Imperial College London. In 2008 she completed her first number painting work is the ‘Bright Village’. In particular the sketch of the painting was there and she refined the already defined numbered colors to make it brightest (https://www.saatchiart.com/art/Painting-Bright-Village/411036/1536275/view ). In 2009 I created my first painting mixing fluorescence and ordinary acrylic colors, the ‘Sun Lines’ ( https://www.saatchiart.com/art/Painting-The-sun-lines/411036/1593478/view). Since then, she started painting using mixed material mainly ordinary and fluorescent acrylic colors and oil pastel to express through art the case between the bad and the good. In 2014, Antonia published her work in acrylic and oil pastel through the digital Gallery Saatchi, www.saatchiart.com/stefaniakatz and Fine Art America , https://fineartamerica.com/profiles/tania-stefania-katzouraki.html with a basic (under construction website) https://tania-stefania-katzouraki.pixels.com/ Number of views at Saatchi Art: over 40,000 views with 39 followers Fine Art America: 20,665 views, 439 comments with 113 followers In 2015, Antonia published her best art work from both acrylic and oil pastel in the digital gallery of Tate. In 2017 she exhibited and published part of her work in the below well known international projects, which are organized by Mr Heinz Playner, who is curator, art critic, director of PAKS Gallery in Austria. In particular, according to analytics, in 9th of March 2018 tweets earned 12.7k impressions over this 28 day period. Further to that, main interests are: • photography with 77% of audience • marketing with 72% of audience • entrepreneurship with 72% of audience • technology with 70% of audience • business and finance with 44% of audience In 2018 Antonia created a group in Fine Art America to promote artworks in fluorescent colored paintings and images taken under UV light. Up to day, the group has as little as 18 members as the art work in fluorescent colors in Fine Art America is very few hardly catching a double digit. Special light installation acts as a kind of environmental art encompassing exhibition space to generate the spatial coordinate of time into the art work. Combination of black and white light along with the time coordinate the viewer comprehends the different views of the artwork. The spatial coordinate of the lighting along with the time generates various versions of the painting. A unique mixing of the fluorescent colors with the ordinary colors along with the special light installation produces a result that the human eye comprehends as a series of images from the same painting. Those series of images may differ in color layout or even design. This unique process of mixing ordinary with fluorescence acrylic colors at the submitted painting determines a technique with potential. Depending on the lighting, the figures of the painting, which are produced with this technique, provides a series of images with figures that differ in hair color, skin color, eye pupil and clothes color. Further to that this technique can be applied to landscapes to provide images of the same landscape at day or night time. Last but not least hidden messages can also be written. All these applications of this technique can be utilized with the only addition of the spatial light coordinate of the combining black and white light.
