Read MoreHello! My name is Taia Bene. I am Russian eclectic artist. I have graduated from Moscow State Textile University for a Fashion Design (2004-2009). It so happened that during my studies I was more drawn to create the 2D sketches of models than the clothes themselves. Every year my drawings and images became more and more mature, in the end my work began to resemble a painting. At some point, I knew clearly who I am... An artist. Harmonious compositions, stylisation, the play of light and shadow, stencils, prints, blots, monotype, fills, watercolour effects, rich textures decorating and elements of detailed image elaboration - complex of all these tools variety forms the basis of mine artistic approach. My works talk about the world around us, as I see it. While many people describe my paintings a surreal character, for me it's all very real. As for me every time it would be interesting to know what viewers see in my work - usually everyone has their opinion, their own image. Thereby I leave the place of creativity to everyone who sees my work. They get the opportunity to dream. Some of my art can be found in houses and apartments interiors, restaurants. Recently I finished Graphic Design Course. It gave me possibility to create my own brand identity and start to mix hand made paintings with computer graphics.
