Hristina Susak was born on September 18th, 1996 in Novi Sad, Serbia. At an early age she started playing violin and piano and at age 8 she wrote her first musical piece. At age 17, before she finished with her high school education, she was accepted to study composition with Prof. Herbert Lauermann at the University of music and performing arts Vienna in Vienna, Austria. 2016 she graduated the first diploma exam and at the moment she is studying Media Composition and applied Music in the class of Prof. Iris ter Schiphorst and at the same time Music theory in the class of Prof. Gesine Schröder. In October 2017 she was chosen for a student representative for the department of composition and music theory at the University of music and performing arts Vienna. Since 2015 she is active as a conceptual performance artist. That allows her to make a connection between many fields of her interests and abilities: composition, mathematics, philosophy, dance, painting and being on a stage.
