Raelin Sun, a professional artist from Taiwan, who loves and skillfully employs vibrant colors. She began her formal art training in her youth, leading to a Master of Art and Design degree from the Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand. She currently resides in Hong Kong.
Enchanted by nature, Raelin's work captures its rich colors dynamic forms, and the heartfelt connections between the natural world, humans, and animals. Her works carry a dreamlike, romantic, and playful quality, with creativity that is not constrained by details and themes that are clear and vivid.
In 2009, she founded GF Media Art Limited and its accompanying art studio. Raelin is deeply passionate about teaching painting and sees herself more as a visual art coach than a traditional art teacher. She believes that everyone is born with the ability to paint and possesses boundless creativity.
Her lifestyle brand "RAELIN SUN" was established in 2023. It transforms some of her original paintings into a range of vibrant everyday lifestyle products. Bridging the gap between art and life, each piece is both functional and stylish, designed to bring happiness, warmth, and beauty into any space.
Raelin's paintings have been featured in theatrical backdrops, murals, music video productions, calendars, and are held in private, corporate, and church collections. Her artworks and lifestyle products have been collected across various regions, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Japan, Malaysia, Dubai, Canada, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand.
In 2025, Raelin was honored with the Outstanding Art Director Award by the Kyoto Museum of Art in Japan and the Outstanding Leadership Award in the Osaka Expo Painting Competition. She was also invited by the organizing committee to participate in the once-every-five-years Osaka World Expo alongside 24 students for an exhibition.
Raelin’s international recognition was further affirmed in early 2026 when she was honored with the IAP International Art Competition’s "Outstanding Mentor Award" and featured in an exhibition at the Carrousel du Louvre in France.
