Kurt Stimmeder works in psychological gesture-based figuration, exploring inner tension and the body's role as a site of psychological inscription. His oil paintings develop through movement studies, capturing fleeting emotional states rather than literal imagery. Alongside painting, he produces original lithographs, printed in Prague — limited editions that extend his conceptual practice into print.
