Born in Paris in 1963, Stéphane Deselle received early in life a training in technical drawing, metal and plastic work and objects creation.

He started his professionnal career in the industry, designing and making several prototypes (car industry, aeronautics and watch making) before becoming a professionnal sculptor.

His profound interest in creative works and plastic arts led him to develop a very personnal production, combining materials in unusual ways at the time.

His research, denominated « drawing in space », led him to combine light with 3 dimensionnal structures to suggest an optical 4th dimension .

A good part of his production is suspended in space, adding movement and a sense of lightness to his minimalist work.

His studio is currently established in Grenoble, France, and his works located in several countries.
