Nada Stauber was born in 1960 in Beirut, a city to which she remains deeply connected. She moved to Switzerland during the Lebanese Civil War and has since lived and worked in Lausanne.
Working with digital software, she combines her paintings and her photos to create hybrid images. Through a gradual process of layering and transformation, she develops compositions in a controlled gesture that yet invites the unexpected. This alchemy pursues a precise visual intention : finding the “accurate” image that reveals the depth and ambiguity that emerge when digital space intersects with reality.
Nada studied at the École des Beaux-Arts de Lausanne (now ECAL), where she graduated in Graphic Design. Then she earned a Master’s degree in Museum Studies. Over the past twenty years, her work has been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Switzerland and Europe, earning several awards. Her distinctive hybrid technique has also gained visibility on social media. In 2023 she participated in art fairs in Venice and Rome and was invited to the Florence Biennale, then had a solo show at Galerie Catherine Niederhauser in Lausanne. Her work was also been presented at the Salon d’Automne in Paris in 2025.
