Roberta Staccioli was born in Volterra in 1981. She attended the Art Institute, where she learned the basics of drawing and painting, as well as alabaster sculpture. Later she studied foreign languages at the University of Pisa and graduated in German. In 2005 she moved to Pfaffenhofen, Germany, where she began working as an employee in an important footwear company.
The passion for art continues in parallel with his work commitments, but remained hidden from most for several years. With the passage of time, the love for painting, which until then was considered an intimate aspect to be kept secretly, becomes bigger and bigger and, with the support of some people very close to her, begins to come out and to deal with an international audience.
From the teenage years until 2015, she uses only and exclusively oil colors with which he paints typically Tuscan still lifes and landscapes on canvas.
Life in Germany and the close contact with ultramodern art and architecture of cities such as Munich, Frankfurt and Berlin definitely influence his way of painting. From oil colors she moves to acrylic and, in a short time, revolutionizes everything. Her paintings become more and more abstract, bigger and the brushstrokes more and more intense. Experiment with new techniques, start applying colors not only with brushes, but with small and large spatulas, with her hands and with various tools invented especially for every occasion. She makes great use of stucco, which is found on many of her works, and often enjoys painting on aluminum sheets, which give that precious metallic result, which she loves.
Among the themes most dear to her are the representation of elements related to nature and its protection, femininity and minimalism.
