Ilya Sprindzhuk
(1994).
His portraits are created in a peculiar author’s painting technique of mixing colors directly on the canvas, covering them with each other: fluid, free and sculpturesque technique. On each portrait one can see the hero of the story, and the story itself.
There are faces of humans you never see in photos, on the streets and in cafes. They are heroes, whose life story exists on the canvas only: imprinted in the paint, their emotion and mood is true.
