Born in 1969 near Paris where she now lives, Sophie Badens explores beauty and art through her passion for photography. She delves into the sensual and emotional dimensions of the female body.Sophie has been represented by the Adler Gallery for the last 8 years and exhibits her work in France and Asia. In 2011, impressed by Sophie’s plexiglas transparent prints, gallerists Armelle and Joël Cohen invited her to take part in a large collective exhibit on the Nude. They have been collaborating ever since. In 2012, Sophie is selected to exhibit her work at Artvo, the contemporary Art Fair in the Val d’Oise area, near Paris. At this venue, Sophie presented a photographic journey on a monolithic concrete cross, demonstrating her proclivity for original supports and her yearning to broach photography as a plastic artist. For the last fifteen years, exhibiting in various venues such as Nocturnes Rive Droite in Paris and the Belgian modern art museum Lanchelevici, MILL, Sophie has been exploring the personal, amourous and spiritual aspects of intimacy. She wanders through her favorite themes in her series “Intime”, “Soul Nude So Exposed”, “Arcanes Cardinales” and, recently, “Persona” which is destined to expand further.
