Katerina Sokolovskaya (*1988 Minsk/Belarus) lives and works in Moscow, Russia. She makes exhibitions and artistic research focused on
the topics of space perception and nonviolent coexistence of individuals in
an environment, using a variety of media including installation, sculpture,
performance and video. She studied at the Faculty of Liberal Arts and
Sciences of St.Petersburg State University (Smolny College), graduated from
St. Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design, studied at the
Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland. Katerina’s
works have been exhibited at Kunsthalle nummer sieben in St. Petersburg,
Russia (2020); OpenOut festival in Tromso, Norway (2019); Garage Museum,
Moscow, Russia (2021, 2017); QuartaRiata Residence, Peterhof, Russia (2018) and
«Krzyżowa» Foundation, Krzyżowa, Poland (2013) amongst others.
