Olga Skuridina is a Spain-based photographer whose practice operates at the intersection of portraiture, reportage, and cultural documentation. Trained at El Instituto de Fotografía in Barcelona between 2016 and 2018, with a specialization in portrait and reportage photography, she has developed a body of work rooted in observation, human presence, and the visual construction of lived experience.
Her photographic research engages with performative, social, and documentary environments, focusing on the ways atmosphere, gesture, and identity emerge within real situations. Her professional experience includes set documentation for the Spanish-Russian short film Waiting for You in Alicante, photographic coverage of Jango Edwards’ masterclass in Valencia, and numerous projects with the S. Bondarchuk Film School in Alicante.
Between 2019 and 2021, Skuridina was the official photographer of the Cine Volna Film Festival in Alicante, where she documented the festival’s cultural landscape and the dynamics of contemporary artistic exchange. Her broader practice also includes sports reportage, including tournaments and Russian billiards championships in Spain.
Since 2021, she has been a member of the GAB creative group in Benissa. Her work has been featured in publications such as Three Millions, Russian Park, and Million Pesetas.
Skuridina’s photographic approach combines documentary attentiveness with a strong sensitivity to emotional and spatial context. Her images function both as records and as visual interpretations, preserving not only events themselves, but also the subtle psychological and social textures that define them.
