I have been engaged in painting for more than ten years and has participated in various competitions in Taiwan and have been recognized and praised. I am currently a member of Taiwan Women's Art Association (MAA) and pursuing a master's degree in the Fine Arts Department of Tunghai University in Taiwan to continue my artistic creation and research. In the past few years, I have been fascinated by the eastern Yin Yang, Wu Xing and Chinese Era and has devoted myself to researching and using their profound meanings in my oil painting creations. Wu Xing, also known as Five Phases or Five Elements, includes Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. It is a fivefold conceptual scheme that many traditional Chinese fields used to explain a wide array of phenomena, from cosmic cycles to the interaction between internal organs. The "mutual generation" and "mutual overcoming" of these elements are also be considered as the power to maintain the balance of the universe. My paintings combine both western media and eastern spirits and ideology. They are combinations of now and past, hoping to present a scene of vast universe together with the change in live of each individual.
