Lili Shen is a digital artist and immersive designer working across VR/AR, video art, and interactive installations. Her practice explores the emotional and social dimensions of technology—how it shapes behavior, perception, and power.
With a background in media art and critical design, Lili’s works investigate issues such as surveillance, digital fatigue, and inequality through speculative storytelling and sensory experiences. Her recent projects include JOURN3YS, a short video loop critiquing attention economies, and an installation exploring the hidden costs of contact tracing technology.
She is currently developing new media projects between the UK and China, with a growing interest in cross-cultural collaboration. Her practice often involves interdisciplinary teams blending design, code, sound, and narrative.
Through layered interfaces, responsive systems, and data-informed visuals, Lili invites audiences to slow down and question the hidden logics of the digital world.
